To live is to experience many things.
One thing I have always been certain of is that death is the promise of life. What lives will surely cease to be, and what matters is what happens in between-because life can break you so much so it reduces you to ashes beneath your feet.
So-“concept of living a very long life?” There’s no such thing as a concept- there is life, it is to be lived and after that- in whichever number of days and years, that life will cease to be.
I see my grandmother in her nineties…and hear her life experiences, and relish her strength, worry about her frailty and wish nothing but comfort and peace for her. I also see the pain in those who are left behind when a child dies, when a loved one dies…and there is a never ending back and forth in those moments for me.
And so, to those who live a long life, may it be fulfilling.
